Nathan Skreslet is a graphic designer with nearly 2 decades of experience serving design clients in the education and non-profit sector. He has a passion for taking complex ideas and representing them with beauty and clarity.

Freelance Graphic Designer

Always and Everywhere

I have been doing freelance work for design clients for over a decade. Duties include: 

  • Meeting clients' unique design needs

  • Multi-page publication design and pre-press file preparation

  • Corporate identity development and branding

  • Working with printers to ensure quality production and meet client deadlines

  • Working remotely with clients, domestic and abroad

Contract Graphic Designer

Hohner Inc.

Aided musical instrument company in preparing for a industry trade shows. Duties included:

  • Creating graphics for trade show displays

  • Updating price lists, sell sheets, and product catalogs

  • Designing retail packaging for new products

Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)

Senior Graphic Designer

I was responsible for a variety of visual design projects ranging across the University, art directing and coordinating a multi-disciplinary team of photographers, interns, and commercial printers. Duties included:

Virginia Tech College of Architecture + Design

Rapid Prototyping Technician

I was responsible for the operation and maintenance of the University's powder-deposition 3D Rapid Prototyping Printer. This device produced physical models from digital files using a glue-bonded starch powder laid in thin layers. Duties included: 

  • Receiving and pre-press checking student files

  • Operation and maintenance of 3D Printer and Wax Immersion Hardening System

  • Administration of the University's Materials Library

Play Creative Consultancy

Student Intern

This consulting agency specialized in play-based brainstorming and product development for a variety of large companies. We organized ethnographic research and product concepting workshops as well as corporate team-building and creativity retreats. Duties included:

This program was a comprehensive training program in concept development and illustration with a focus on pre-production design for the entertainment industry. Topics covered included:
